Bergamot Station + SuperFine Art Fair @ the REEF

Traveled with young friends to explore Bergamot Station with over 20 galleries and art organizations. A great time was had by all as we learned about contemporary art practice from helpful gallerists!

SUPER FINE ART FAIR @ THE REEF
A smallish fair with mainly Los Angeles artists presenting. A favorite was Conspiracy Theory plates - perfect for our time.
Also loved prints by Paul Westacott (Glendale), paintings by Mark Russell Jones and Funky painted pennies by Cody the Creative.
Fun outting, warming up for FRIEZE WEEK

Next week in Los Angeles. We'll start with an early morning MOCA Geffen conversation hosted by director Klaus Biesenbach with Hans Ulrich Obrist, Shrin Neshast and Simone Forti. Casual Friday at the Disney Concert Hall

Hosted wine 🍷 and conversation in the Garden then Beethoven with Emmanuel Ax on piano conducted by Nathalie Stutzmann. If that was not enough - then a talk-back and drinks with the symphony. A spectacular evening where we met new Angelenos and bathed in the brilliance of the LAPhill.

LOS ANGELES WOMENS MARCH 2020

Over 350,000 women, girls, and men took to the street on January 18th to say NO to trump, no to years of inequality, and YES to change. I was happy to march with my sisters through the streets of Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES CITY HALL

Broad museum

So close to the Broad that I can just stop in for an hour to look st a piece or two. Today Barbra Kruger drew my attention with this piece screened on to plexus glass. MOCA Geffen also has a timely mural up on the side of the museum.
